You may know me from several different places around the web:
On MobilityMinded I write articles and reviews about hardware, software or accessories on MobilityMinded.com, in the role of Sr. news & review editor (and member of the founding core-team). In June 2009 I wrote an article on the Remo Knops’ Personal Blog website, that explained the underlying reasoning and background to publish mobile technology related articles on MobilityMinded. While the reasoning is two-fold this strategic decision resulted in a significant focus on professional-related content on my personal blog. It was a first step of segmentation and positioning.
On Remo Knops’ Personal Blog, my personal blog, I write articles with a professional focus and based on my background as a BSc Mechanical Engineering @ Zuyd Polytechnic University and MSc. Business Administration Student @ School of Management & Governance, University of Twente, Netherlands. With a specialization in the (professional) field of Innovation & Entrepreneurship I foster an in-depth and enthusiastic passion for business models and entrepreneurship in an open innovation context. Therefore it won’t be a big surprise that I’m developing my master thesis around the topic of business models and experimentation. Due to the importance of social media as distribution channels and the real-time characteristics of social networks like Twitter, there are multiple and highly valuable sources of information available on the tip of your mouse-button. However writing extensive articles on MobilityMinded or Remo Knops’ Personal Blog would become very time-consuming. Therefore Remo Knops’ Brain Bits is a second step of segmentation and positioning, that will cover a wider spectrum of topics in a significant shorter Tumblr-style concept !
